Why IAmTranshuman(ist)?

I am Transhuman, because at the end of the 80s, when I was only a single digit age; my father had meningitis. Then when his doctor said that he would have brain damage, I asked “could we fix it with connected a computer?” …

There was no damage to my father, but later, in 2000 he was paralyzed by the clot he had thrown with a heart attack. “If we automated system for his body that give enough electricity to deliver nerves, then he win regain its ability to move? Can’t we regulate the brain functions so that the chip is trapped in the brain to control the body?” I asked…

I am transhuman, because when my big brother was diagnosed with Cerebrotendinous xanthomatosis and MS in the same year, i asked -again- a question “Couldn’t we support the body with external apparatus that would allow the body’s movements?” and when my little brother died in 2009, I said “i wish we could back up his brain and memories, we would turn it into a bot and continue as if we were chatting from the computer, or we took a tooth and hid it, maybe we would transfer it to a body in the future…”

I am transhuman, because, in the same year, when I was concerned for my baby and I want a piercing -which has got GPS, online recording and publishing video and voice- on his eyebrows … My family were worried about my mental health…

I believe people can live better quality and healthier and leave more permanent marks… Yes there are risks; can be hacked, yes there are risks; the body may not accept it, or it may become completely manageable from the outside… We cannot know without trying… But I always believed that these could be done…because I am transhuman…
